Without a doubt, these discussion are important moral, economic, and in some cases political topics. "Quality of Life" may also enter into conversation when considering when to end the life of a terminally ill household pet. I had to face this question myself. About three years ago a German Shepard dog I had was diagnosed with "enlarged heart", heart failure. My dog's energy dropped dramatically in the last week of life. During that time I was forced to consider the dog's quality of life. What would be the minimum amount of health, mobility, and joy I, and my dog could live with. What measures would my family be able to commit to, in order to care for the dog? “Quality of Life” has been in discussion for the old, the very ill, and even pets. But where is the discussion on quality of life for those in the workforce?
What is the "Business Quality of Life" (BQOL) for those individuals who are out of college, or trade school? Those who are out in the workforce? Have we neglected to consider quality of life for those that support our economy, and life styles? In Part 2 "Business Quality of Life" will be defined, and we shall see how working with a qualified professional coach can be the cornerstone to improving BQOL and one's life as a whole. Check back next week for Part 2 (to be continued...)
